Privacy notice for land requests

As parselx.com.tr ("ParselX"), we process the personal data you submit through the I want to sell my land, I'm looking for land and Licensed valuation report forms as data controller under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), as set out below. For general information, see the KVKK privacy notice.

Data processed

• Identity and contact: name and surname, verified mobile phone number. For requests left without a Turkish mobile number (verified by e-mail, without an account): your verified e-mail address and, optionally, a phone / WhatsApp number with country code, your country of residence and how you prefer to be contacted.
• Request details: the land's province, district, neighbourhood, block / parcel, area and title deed information, or the region, villages, area, budget (with currency) and purpose you are looking for; your notes; the parcel you selected or the area you drew on the map; the parcel's plan and surroundings information.
• Consent and verification records: time of consent, version of the consent text, the language of your request, how it was verified (SMS or e-mail; the code itself is not stored) and the feedback you give after your request has been passed on.

Purpose and legal grounds

Your data are processed in order to assess your request, contact you, send you e-mails about your request (that it was received, who it was passed to, and whether you were contacted afterwards) and match you with a suitable buyer or plot, on the legal grounds of KVKK Art. 5/2 (c), establishment and performance of a contract, and (f), legitimate interest. Sharing your request with business partners and sending you commercial messages are based solely on the explicit consent you give separately.

Transfers

• Your data are transferred only if you give explicit consent, and only for this request, to our contracted estate agency business partners holding a Real Estate Trading Authorisation Certificate (Taşınmaz Ticareti Yetki Belgesi). A business partner may be an estate agency that has an office account on ParselX and whose authorisation certificate has been checked by ParselX; a request is passed to only one office at a time. • For a valuation report request, your data are transferred, only with the explicit consent you give separately, to a contracted valuation firm licensed by the Capital Markets Board (SPK), so that you can receive a quote for the report (explicit consent text, in Turkish).
• Requests for land in North Cyprus are transferred, only if you give explicit consent, to a contracted estate agent in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus who is on the official register of estate agents under the Estate Agents Registration and Transactions Law (Emlakçıların Kayıt ve İşlemleri Yasası). This is a transfer abroad under KVKK Art. 9: ParselX signs the standard contract published by the Personal Data Protection Board with the receiving agent and notifies the Authority. The level of data protection in North Cyprus may differ from that in Türkiye. We tell you by e-mail who your request was passed to (company and register number).
• Your phone number is transferred to our SMS service provider for notification and contact SMS messages, and your e-mail address to our e-mail delivery service for verification and information e-mails.
• Like the site's other data, requests are kept on our servers in a data centre in the European Union (the conditions for transfers abroad are explained in the KVKK privacy notice).
• ParselX does not publish requests as public listings.

Retention period

Requests are kept for at most one year after they are closed; they are then anonymised by deleting the name, phone number, e-mail address, country, notes and location details. You can delete your request at any time under My account › My requests or, for a request left without an account, with the link in the e-mail we sent you.
